Cleard for "normal" activity - motorcycle riding

Let's start this out right I went for my 2nd check-up and the dr was pleased with my progress and has cleared me for normal stuff. Yes that means sex and riding the bike. I am so excited I could just dance.

The weather has been teasing me for a couple of days now.

Oh and my DH and I have all ready enjoyed the blessings of approved activity

Wow lucky you. I had my surgery on April 14 and do not have my second Dr's appt until next week. I have not gained back some of my desired activities yet

I had my 2nd checkup today and was cleared for all activities also. And to celebrate we are going away this weekend.

Wow -- If you didn't live so far away from me, I would say..."Come on over and pick me up and take me out for a spin!" Cruising the countryside on a motorcycle on a beautiful spring day sounds like heaven to me!

I hope that your post-hyst life just keeps getting better and better! That's the way it's supposed to work.

thanks - and yes it is great being on the bike and "cruising" around. I am going to take the bike out today for a few laps just to see how it feels. I was worried that I might have to postpone a trip my husband and I planned to Tennessee and back. We are meeting my sister and her husband in their RV. So far so good.

Today starts week 3 of my recovery. I will be so glad to be released so I can ride on the motorcycle with hubby again!!!!!!!

Happy Dance for you Cheryl!!!! I'm so happy to read your post, puts a big smile on my face Woo Hoo! I'm 2 weeks post op and just the thought of a motorcycle and return to sex is such a great dream to look forward to again!

Congrats! Just be very careful when maneuvering the bike at low speeds/when parking. You haven't used your tummy muscles much in a long while so there is risk of pulling something.

I was overjoyed to get back on the bike, myself. Have fun!

I mapped out a short route (easy roads) to a starbucks that was 20 miles from the house. I even rode at the posted speed limit!
The weather cooperated and I was back home in about 2 hours (ofcourse this includes a coffee break) Hope to go out on Saturday for a morning ride.
