What Helped My Swelly Belly

simplify, panties usually have a chart on the back of the packaging with measurements & according sizes. I think you can give your friend what you told us & she can use that to get you the right size. She might want to go a size bigger since you are swollen.

I wear a size 14 (before surgery), about a 16 now because of the belly. I got a size extra large and 2x. I wear the xl during the day and the 2x in the evening. I hope this helps!

I have a 'binder' type of thing I got when I was in the hospital. It's very helpful and my belly hurts more without it. It seems heavy duty and like it would hurt, but it helps. I also went to a different type of undie. I bought plain cotton Haines briefs in a size two sizes bigger than I wear. The band still hurts my incision, so I cut part of the elastic band out. That part fits very low under my incision, but they still stay up. I'm only a couple of days home from the castle, and I'm getting tons of great information and help on this site. Thanks to all of you! Janet

just happend to have a pair of tummy tuck undies! They do make a difference. But should there be a concern if they are a bit tight?
