Bleed after partial hysterectomy

i had a partial hysterectomy an i am having some light red bleeding. Is this normal? Crampy feeling like a period.

When you keep your ovaries and cervix it is possible to have what they call a mini period each month when you cycle. Many times they will they will get less and less and finally stop, but not always.
