Re: What kind of hospital floor did you stay in

I stayed in a private suite on a post surgery floor. It was not too bad there was an RN, CNA, phlebotomist, housekeeper, and nutritionist who all continued to check on me throughout my stay.

Re: What kind of hospital floor did you stay in

I stayed in a small locked area for KIDDIES.. I was the only adult there. One 2 year old was my neighbor in the next room, who would occasionally run down the hall in just a diaper. (3am) It was the best. The nurses had only the one patient so I got a lot of Kiddie attention.. lol... I didn't want more babies but I really didn't want to go to maternity. Just didn't seem right.. I'm too emotional..

Re: What kind of hospital floor did you stay in

The floor I was on is called women's health. There are maternity patients there but other women's health issues as well. I was far away from the nursery. Plus the hospital I was in had all private rooms. It was a large hospital in a major city. I was nervous about going there and originally wanted to be in the oncology floor where I knew everyone but I was too out of it the morning of to remember that I needed to request that the morning of surgery. In the end I'm glad they put me where they did! It was wonderful care by nursing staff who really knew what was going in with me!

Re: What kind of hospital floor did you stay in

I got to stay in the maternity ward......who knows how to take care of female issues better than OB nurses?! It was great....and since I had both my kids there, the nurses were mostly the same, it was like a little reunion! Great experience!
