I GO TO THE CASTLE TOMORROW. AND I AM GETTING
REALLY NERVOUS. I KNOW I AM GOING TO BE STARVING,
I CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING FOR SUPPER BUT JELLO.
I HAVE TO DO A BOWEL PREP AT 5:00pm. THEY ARE
SUPPOSE TO CALL ME THIS MORNING TO TELL ME
WHAT TIME TO BE THERE. I AM REALLY READY TO
GET THIS OVER WITH. THE ONLY THING THAT I REALLY
DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS IS BEING NAUSEOUS

I GET REALLY NAUSEOUS WHEN I WAKE UP FROM
THE ANESTHESIA. DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS
ABOUT HELPING WITH THIS??

Surgery Tomorrow!!!!

Rosec,
I would recommend discussing this with your anesthesiologist before your surgery. They can put something in your IV to help. I think if you OVER emphasize your concern with him,and anyone else that will listen you are likely to have a good outcome. Also when you get to your room if you notice the slightest hint of nausea, do not wait!! ask for something immediately.
Best wishes tomorrow and make sure to REST UP when you get home

Surgery Tomorrow!!!!

Sorry this will be short and abrupt, heading out the door on the way to work. I get very sick for 5 days after surgery unless I do the following:

Call your doc or hospital anesthesiology dept. Tell them that you get sick from anesthesia. Ask for a Scopolomine patch prescription. It's a patch they used to use for seasickness and it works wonderfully for me. (patch goes behind your ear) They also put all the anti-nausea meds in me before, during and after surgery, that they give to the chemo patients.

Again, so sorry it's abrupt, but I'm late! I send a hug to take away the bluntness!!!!!
