Change Of Surgery Date

Hello -

My surgery was scheduled for Monday April 22 but I have a bad cold/cough so it was reescheduled for May 6... more waiting... but I do want to feel good. I sure dont want to have to cough more than necessary...

Just wanted to let you know.

Sorry you have to wait longer than you anticipated, but you definitely want to be over that cough. I had a lingering cough from a cold I caught a couple of weeks before my date and decided to try peppermint tea the last couple of days and it worked wonders. No more cough!

Jubileo, My heart goes out to you. I wouldn't want to be rescheduled. I had shoulder surgery a month ago and developed bronchitis the day after surgery and had to return to the hospital for emergency breathing treatment. I hadn't felt well before going into surgery but just kept thinking it was allergies. Now I am scheduled to go to the castle on 4/22. I feel like I am again coming down with something, but the trees are all blooming and they always cause a problem. I wish I could go into an isolation booth for the next few days but I can't. This is just another thing to make me anxious.

You certainly don't want to go in to surgery with any chest congestion, so it's good that you're rescheduled.

Be sure and correct your surgery date in your User Profile.
