should I keep ovaries

Hello, ladies!
I am scheduled for my surgery this Thursday, June 7th. I am also 45, and the doc wants to take my ovaries to eliminate the possibility of ovarian cancer. I spoke to another doc, and she said they learn in their residencies to recommend the removal of ovaries with hyst once you reach 45. It is still my decision, but I am going to leave it up to him to look at them first-- if there is anything slightly wrong, they can go. But if they look great, they might as well stay...
It's funny, never had a second thought about getting rid of my uterus-- so looking forward to be finished with this WAIT....
