Swelly Belly

That is the one thing that I am concerned about is how will my swelly belly be once I return to work. I am only 1 week post op and feel and look like I am about 4 months pregnant due to the swelly belly. Thank you all for the advice on dealing with it. I am so happy I found this site!!

I had a vaginal hysterectomy on March 16th, along with a cystocele repair. My belly is more swelly than ever! I can't understand this, as it is "swelliest' much higher up and very uncomfortable. Anyone know anything about this?

I feel more bloated higher up than I do in the lower abdomin, I feel like my bras are cutting off my circulation. I am going to have a CT scan tomorrow. I have been trying to research on the internet why his is happening. I too am uncomfortable similar to when I had my gallbladder out. hang in there my doctor put me back on tylenol 3 with codine tiday. I have been off the pain medicine for two weeks before today.
