Really stressing over my insurance...

Went for my pre-op blood work today and my surgery is Tuesday at 12:00...well my doctors nurse called today to say my insurance is dragging it's feet and just sent my pre-authorization to their doctor board to get approval. I called the insurance and got really upset as she is asking if my doctor has gone through all options ....I asked her if she thinks after 4 years of hemorraging and tons of tests and hrt's and always on iron, that I was doing the surgery for the FUN of it...I've been dreading the surgery and now that I'm this close to miss my date would make me stress all the more....She said they will let me know monday morning . By the way my surgery is 176 miles away so we have already booked a room and everything. Susie

I guess they think we are going to have a "party" in the hospital at their expense. I can't figure them out. Oh wait...it's all about money. Not to care for us but to make money!
