Christmas Period

Well it appears despite being on even stonger bcp back to back with no week off, and taking the pills prescribed to stop the period if it starts, it is here, full force just in time for Christmas!
Oh well, 2 weeks from right now I'll be a punctured princess and i imagine that the pain from post-op will be a piece of cake compared to the cramps and spasms of today. Oh well I guess this will be my last one! and : break open the champagne and a toradol on the side.
On a brighter note, it's just a painful heavy period, not a hemmorhage session!!

Just think in just a couple of weeks this will be behind you. I am now 10 days post and doing better every day. I even have a little giggle when I see the pad commercials on tv. I don't need to go down that isle in the store anymore, whooohoooo.

I am six days post opTAH/BSO and I can tell you that the pain of cramps and uncontrolled bleeding if definetly worse than recovery. My gave me that exact advice actually so drink up and get ready to snicker at pms, always, and all the other products you will no longer need.

I am so sorry that your period is here for Christmas. Gosh I hated when it would show and ruin things. But now yippppppeeeeeeeeee Nothing and it is awesome.

I had my TAH on 12-20. IN recovery I had horrible back pain. But the next day when hubby and I went for a walk it was so nice. I told hubby that I actually can remember cramps like the pain I was having in my back. Now all of that will be no more. Wish you the best of luck.
