Hospital food

The first thing I want to say about hospital food is YUK!!
i see where you are from Hamilton, Ohio. What Hospital are you going too. I just got out of Anderson Mercy. The food there was awful...they did have veggie burgers. They had a fairly large selection to choose from, but the dietican would probuley be your best bet. I really wasn't that hungary while I was there..which was a good thing considering what you get.
Good luck!!

I'm sorry the food at your hospital wasn't that good.I'm quite lucky I guess.I'm having my LAVH at the hospital my youngest was born in 9 months ago.The food there is wonderful, even more so because I don't have to cook it myself LOL.

Hospital food- probably a dumb question...

Hi,

thanks everyone for the suggestions. I went for my pre-admission testing today. I asked them about the food.
They said my best bet is to tell the nurse when I get to my room after surgery what kind of food I want. Mention it to my gyn would also be a good idea because she will decide want diet I have.
Well, I give it a try!

Sharon:
I'm going to Fairfield Mercy. I had a myomectomy done there a few months ago. Like I said before, I really couldn't try the food,
but the smell was enough for me to get the idea.

Take care!

Hospital food- probably a dumb question...

Hi,

I talked to my gyn today about being a vegetarian, at my pre-op exam. She said she will make sure to order a vegetarian diet, once I 'll be able to eat solid food.

Just thought I let you know. Since some of you were interested.

Thanks,
Patty
