new date after cancelled op
Hi
I was due to have my LAVH last week (5th Feb) but was cancelled at the last minute, whilst in theatre gown and ted stockings due to an emergency.
Well, after a `long` weekend wait, I have a new date on 23rd Feb. So 2 weeks to wait again, and get all prepared again, but on a positive, I get to spend school hols with my kids before my op.
Hope it doesn`t get cancelled again!

Oh, I feel for you. It is so hard to wait, but to be canceled like that while your so close must be really hard!! That's great that you can see the upside to it all 
Hang in there, the waiting is the hardest part I hear...

Waiting is the hardest part. Even after my pain and UTI after. If it any consolation the 23 rd is a great day! It's my daughters birthday!

That happened to me as well, just as I was grabbing my bag to head to the hospital. I was so disappointed as I am a huge planner and everything was set for that day of surgery. Had surgery a week later and it turned out that it was probably for the better! I wish you lots and lots of luck! It will be okay!

Stressful! But yeah it sounds a better date, plus let's hope the Emergency person made it through.
