Is the cut off time for food still midnight? The last surgery time was 1030 am, so I am not sure.

If I have a 730am surgery time...

My TAH was at 7:30am and I was told no food or water after midnight, but if you had to take meds you could have just a sip of water.

Sending happy thoughts and prayers your way...

If I have a 730am surgery time...

If it's any consolation -- I thought I would be horribly hungry and thirsty the day of my surgery, and my report time to the hospital was 11 a.m. To my surprise, I was really OK. I don't know if it was the anticipation or what, but the time went by very quickly.

It was the time after surgery when all they would let me do is suck on the little sponge-on-a-stick for several hours that was more difficult!!!

Hope things go well for you.
