Re: joy

Hi jojomnstr, I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well I didn't feel very well either when I was only 8 days out. I didn't drive until 10, and then it was just a few blocks. I'm a little confused though. You say they took your tubes and ovaries, did they remove your uterus too? If they did remove your uterus, were you able to keep your cervix? If they removed your uterus, then it likely irritated your bladder when your surgeon did the work to remove your uterus. It can last a few days, and certainly gas could cause more pressure. Are you taking ibuprofen or tylenol, that can help. You should also make sure you are drinking plenty of water and walking a bit every hour or so. If your doctor told you to take stool softeners, you should be taking those as well. A heating pad may help too. I hope you feel better soon!

Re: joy

Sorry your not feeling well (( hugs))

Stool softeners and a hearing pad and lots and lots of rest! Try not to do much of anything if possible. I couldn't drive for 4 weeks but was lucky enough to have hubby home with me.
Good luck!
