Sarita
That's great that he thinks things are going well. I hadn't realized that your other children were so young. Please no matter how tempting it is, don't pick them up or use your abs to help you care for them... I hope you have someone with you all the time to help with them. As tempting as it is...you will be better able to take care of them in the long run if you take care of yourself now...
And you might want to read the article about adhesions in the post-op section.
Take care of yourself.

Sarita,

I'm glad that you came here and shared your story. You will get alot of support here. I am so glad you talked to your dr and he feels everything is normal. Please don't hesitate to call him anytime you think something isn't right. Especially with everything you've been through. I know it will be hard for you with 4 small children. I know it will be hard for you to resist wanting to care for them. The best thing you can do for them and for yourself is to rest, rest, rest and let others do for you. That is the best way to get to recovery so you can take care of those beautiful kiddies and start getting back to a normal life. Please take care of yourself.

Thank you all for your tremendous support. Almost dying has a way of changing your perspective on life. I have to get over feeling guilty for not being able to do things or recovering as quickly as I'd like to. I am so blessed to have this forum to find support.

Sarita, you are a strong person to make it through such a surgery. Your baby as well.

As everyone says. Take every bit of help you can get and place your priority on healing yourself. Do not push it. You will not get a medal for being supermom. The only htin you will accomplish is setting yourself back. Let your body take the time to heal. I had a lot of people tell me to lay low and lets time takes its course. They told me "you only get to heal the right way once".
