TVH on Monday....

Hi ladies!! The big day is right around the corner and I think I'm ready. I can't wait to get it over with.....!! I am looking forward to a good weekend and hopefully lots of sex since that will cease for awhile. This question may seem a little forward but do you think he should withdrawl? And I would also like to know how long most of u had to wait for sex with a vaginal. My fiance' and I have a great sex life and I sure hope things are okay afterwards. I am keeping my ovaries so I am staying positive that things will be just fine. I had a TVH and my dr did not have any kind of instructions on this before the surgery for me. I did not even have a bowel prep before my surgery. I don't think it matters with everything being removed, but if in doubt check with nurse or dr as sometimes there are special cases.

The general rule on what the dr says is nothing in the vagina for 6 weeks, and this is important because of bacterial infections, tears, etc.

Please remember even if it is only a TVH and you feel good , it is important to rest and take it easy during the 6 weeks post-op, there are many stitches inside that have to heal.

I don't think there is a reason for your fiance to have to pull out. The sperm can't do anything in there. LOL Have a great weekend! Wink-wink
