Hysterectomy: May 23rd, 2012

Surgery Type: TLH

Ovaries: Removed both

Tension Headaches - Post - 11 weeks- anyone experienciing them- MISERABLE!

Anyone with advice on how to handle the Tension Headaches? I am just aobut 3 months post op TLH and have had one everyday for the last month. It is miserable. I take advil and sinus meds but just barely takes the edge off. So need advice?

Are you on HRT? Mine was causing headaches but I have to be on it due to my age. My Dr prescribed amitriptylene 25mg to take at night. I haven't had a headache since and I have been sleeping great and have more energy during the day.
