MemawB, I am glad to see that you are home and doing well. Drink your water and rest, let your dh pamper you.The CHECKPOINTSare great, they give you an ideal of what to expect along the way of recovery. I wish you the best, Carol

Welcome home!

I know the instructions sound pretty restrictive, but it's for the best. Take care of yourself, drink plenty of water, take short slow walks, rest, and of course, enjoy your pampering!

Welcome Home

Hello MemawB:

Glad you're home and feeling well. Just remember, it takes your body lots of time to heal...I'm over six weeks out and still need to rest,,,, lotssssssssss

Just take it easy, relax, take lots of naps, drink lots of fluids. But most of all, listen to your body. And let your DH be your nurse. (Mine still won't let me do certain things, although I'm "allowed".)

Enjoy the quiet, you'll need it after while.

And believe me, the doctor told nothing heavier than a gallon of milk....and I didn't...glad I didn't, too.

Pamper yourself and get well.

Take care
