Pcos relief after hysterectomy?

Anyone with pcos experience positive results after hysterectomy?

I don't have heavy periods anymore and no more cysts filled ovaries! I still have hair growing where I don't want and losing it where I need it, insulin is still high and losing weight is still hard. But now I'm dealing with all the stuff that comes from a total hysterectomy. NOT FUN!

I have PCOS..I still have the endocrine problems, such as hair on my face, trouble losing weight, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, thyroid problems , but I do not have the heavy, painful year long periods, anemia, and painful cyst covered ovaries. For that I am greatful. I have not had any menopause symptoms and my doctor said I may never have any. I hope he is right. My ovaries quit working about 7 years ago. Very happy to have had the hysterectomy finally.
