I Am Home!!!!!!!!!

I AM HOME, I HAD LAVH/BSO/TVT 9-20 AND I AM HURTING PRETTY BAD. I FELT WORSE THE DAY AFTER BUT EACHDAY IS EASIER. I AM A REAL WHIMP THOUGH! LOL! I THINK THAT THE TVT IS WHAT IS CAUSING ME THE MOST PAIN THOUGH BECAUSE I HURT MORE IN THAT AREA. I HAD MY FIRST BM TODAY AND IT WAS AWEFUL, I HAD TO USE AN ENEMA TO GO. I WAS VERY SCARED. MY STOMACH I SO SWOLLEN, I LOOK LIKE IM 6 MONTHS PREGNANT. WHEN WILL THIS GO DOWN? I HAVE HAD HEARTBURN SO BAD AND I CAN HARDLY EAT A COUPLE BITES OF FOOD WITHOUT GETTING SICK. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM? WELL ALL IN ALL I AM STILL GLAD I HAD THE SURGERY AND I CANT WAIT TO START FEELING BETTER!!!

Welcome home princess!

Sorry your feeling so miserable. I'm a little in the dark about what a TVT is. Have you tried using prune juice or prunes or anthing that will help to keep your BM's a little easier to pass...I've always had a hard time in the potty department anyways, but I find that these things really do help me and My tummy isn't ready for all the work it takes for normal BM pushing. Maybe all the heartburn is caused from all the pain meds your on? What are you taking for pain...if they bother your tummy, then you could call your doctor and they may order something less hurtful for your stomach lining.

My tummy is still swelling quit a bit too...I hear we can have that for quite a time, but I'm 9 days post-op now and it is better than it was one wekk one...everyday is better than the day before.
