almost 3 weeks post-op, having stabbing pain??

Need some help, any ideas. I'm having stabbing pain on right side, about half way in from my hip, I have it when I sit down stand up, walk, it's driving me crazy, sometimes it's on left side too, but mostly right side, still taking tylenol, not really helping, don't see dr. until 6 week check up. When I stand up it feels really heavy across abdoman, kept ovaries and hot flashes are not really helping any with this heat. Maybe I over did it some how, didn't do much today except read, eat a little bit, not really hungery, been drinking lots though. Any ideas, pulled muscle maybe, gas? I don't have a fever, well a little one, but I'm on penicillin anyway, no bleeding either.

I had the stabbing pains for a couple of months. I felt like stickers poking me from the inside too which were probably the inside stiches. It's the healing process. Well, that's what my dr said. Lots of us had no apetite , just keep well rested, drink your fluids and munch when you can, you'll be ok.

I too am having those stabbing pains. I guess it must be normal. TAH was 6/28/07

I have stabbing pains that feel like a pencil poking me from the inside.....it is on both the right and left side. I don't know what this is...anyone have this or have an idea what it could be??
Any thoughts or ideas is greatly appreciated!!!

I had the same thing on right side. It was a tendon that got moved around during surgery. It was at it's worse around the third week. I was afraid that it was adhesion's but it went away with time. Thank goodness.
