6 week check up.....not quite the news I was expecting

6 weeks post op and I'm not happy at the moment. Oh where to start. I've been having pain on my right side which is the ovary I left behind. He said a cyst is possible and wants to do an ultrasound. During my internal examination he decided to feel my ovary with his fingers and said he was pretty sure he did in fact feel a cyst. I go in Monday for my ultrasound. Next up I have granulation tissue on the cuff soooo no sex for at least 2 more weeks. We talked about my not sleeping and how I'm still pretty emotional. They had tested my esteogen levels a couple of weeks ago. He said that while my levels were in the normal range they were on the low side and may not be normal for me. He inserted some estrogen gel and sent me home with samples of some gel called Premarin and wants me to use it for 2 weeks. I go back in on the 14th for yet another check up.

sorry to hear that your check up didnt go as well as you hoped for.....i was put on no sex with my dh for 6 months after my 6 week check up....i know how that feels wanting that part back in your life.....hope that the gel works for u and helps with both sleeping and weeping.....

Holy cow! Did you say 6 months??? What in the world caused THAT??!!

infections i dont heal well my cuff stitching had to b replace then when it healed had to have another surgery then we moved and i pulled a few thing
