Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Ovulation Pains after a Hysterectomy

I had my hysterectomy on the 27 Nov 2014. I still have my ovaries. Every month I experience pain on my right side which I was told is due to ovulation! Instantly I get an infection. It is very uncomfortable! Does any one have any advise?
