I also am totally addicted to this site! I am on here all the time, at least every few hours(when I am home) I have a note book that I write down all the questions that I see others have , that I can ask my Dr. next week at my pre-op. This site is a blessing and with out it I would not have such a clm feeling and have so much knowledge! Thanks to every one! Linda :

I hear ya sistah's!
This site is so wonderful! I found it about three weeks post-op and have pretty much come here faithfully every day...go through such withdrawals when I'm out of town!
I discovered the chatroom about two months ago...talk about addiction!! If you can't sleep, are a bit depressed, or just want to be entertained...that's the place to go. We get slap happy sometimes too. It's a wonderful learning experience as well. So many of the ladies are so knowledgeable and helpful...very comforting place to be. We've been able to lighten the hearts of some who have come in very depressed, and hopefully have put a smile on their faces by the time they leave.
My dh is almost getting jealous of the time I spend here...been trying to squeeze in when he's not looking! haha...tough to do when this keyboard makes so much noise...need a mute button on this! Other times he comes in my office and will read a bit of the chat...especially if I've been hootin and he'll get a kick out of the replies.
Anyway...just wanted to add my two cents...for whatever it's worth.
I'm SUIEEEE2 in chat...the crazy hog lady!

women supporting women.. wonderful..
I had my kids at home with a mid-wife (all 5). This experience reminds me of much the same thing.
2 yrs. ago, my oldest daughter had her first child at home too. With the same mid-wife that delivered her! We were both so thrilled with the experience. At the birth of my grandson, I was there, she had her bestfriened, her sister, her MIL, and 2 mid-wives. She said she felt so good being surrounded by women, who have shared (or will share) this experience. It made her feel safe and protected. There seem to be a real feeling of the continuance of the life flow process...
The same is happening here. Thanks to all the princesses before us, showing us the way..

I better get busy cleaning !!!
I'm starting to worry a little bit....because I'll have no one to be with me after....... oh well I'll sleep alot and my bathroom is close to my bed.....

Isn't it a wonderful addiction
This site is the best thing to happen to me since I found it. I have gained so much information and support here. I really don't think I could have gotten through this waiting without it. I come online to check my e-mail and always check in to read the new posts. For those who are waiting for their surgery... best of luck and my prayers are with you.

Gosh, addicted is such a negative word. I'd like to say that I am wonderfully attached. I can't imagine what I would have done before my surgery without all the info and comfort I got from this site. And after, it is a constant source of pleasure, info and a great distraction to the empty hours of recovery. I feel better knowing that I'm not that crazy in that I'm not the only one.
