Re: pain

I had my surgery the day before you. I feel a bit better today. You have to believe it will get better and it will. Rest and then rest some more

Hey there
the first three weeks are the worst, I have had some other problems (which hopefully you will not encounter) but I can honestly say week 4 was the turning point for me!
Lots of rest and lots of fluids

Re: pain

I know the feeling, i had mine in the 17th and my whole stomach feels bruised. I stopped taking the pain meds cause of the constipation and now only take motrin. Praying it gets better soon cause i really need a good nights sleep.

Re: pain

The first 3 weeks are tough. I just finished 6 weeks post op and went to work this week, and I'm 60. Feel almost back to normal ! It will get better. Hang in there!

Re: pain

remember ... it's major surgery.
our bodies have been thru a surgcal beating of sorts. you may have a good day and think, hey, i'm healed. WRONG!. even though the body is an amazing machine, unfortunately it takes a while to get back to normal, whatever that is ;-)
Hang in there sisters!
