not as bad as I thought

I had the LAVH this past Tuesday and came home the next day. I'm sore but not nearly as bad as I thought that I would be. In the "castle" I was on a morphine pump and kept pumping the machine every 10 minutes and thought that I was doing GREAT! Come to find out, I was because the machine was blocked and the morphine was NOT getting to me but I didn't realize it. When they fixed it, I was REALLY fine Since I've been home (3 days since surgery), I am tempted to do more than I'm suppose to do. Any advice so I won't do anything STUPID. The doctor said that the fibroid was bigger than she first expected (size of a grapefruit) and she also was able to tack up the bladder. Everthing was removed. I'm being put on femara for the breast cancer; so other than that no hormone therapy.

glad your home..that is horrible that you didnt get the pain meds cuz the machine clogged.. owie.. dont do to much just relax,before you know it you will be running around woundering where the weeks went..good luck to you
