Hi., had my hyst. on Nov. 1, been 27 days. Pain is gone, but last couple of days been having this like burning tingling feeling on either side of incision (vertical one). Anyone else have this and is it normal?

I have been having the same feelings, so I asked one of the nurses at my doctors office and she told me it is because your nerves are re-generating and believe it or not that burning feeling is good, it means you are healing I have been using an icepack for it, and taking some anti-inflammatorys. Hope this helps you

I had a similar experience but with itching. I knew that it was healing so I did not worry about it too much.

Hardest part was trying not to itch myself raw.

I am having the same pain!! I am 3 and half months out and my DH told me that intially it was stiches disolving!! I didn't htink so. Last night while driving I got the worst pain on my right side incision line. It felt like I had the hugeist needle going into my belly!! I actually had to pull off the road!! Has anyone had this kind of pain? I am debating on calling my DH, but don't want to be a pest!!

I've been having the same pain...and I assumed it was normal, wasn't too worried about it..but didn't know exactly what it was. Now that you mention nerves and healing, that makes sense Not my post, but thanks for the insight

I've had lots of those feelings since my surgery mostly between the 1st and 5th months. They gradually decreased, but I still get a twinge every once and a while. Still numb in small areas around my incision and belly too.

Be kind to yourself in the early months of recovery!

That is probably what it is then.......my incision from where my tubal was right at bellybutton is really sore and almost bleeding some........think it is probably from pants, just where the button goes.....guess I am doomed to wear pj pants for awhile.....comfy anyway.
