LSH Hysterectomy yesterday

I had LSH yesterday at 8am, woke up at 10:30 in recovery with a little pain. I was moved to a room and given IV pain meds, slept for a while, had a liquid lunch tray which was well tolerated and was up sitting in a chair by 1pm. I was finally able to urinate around 3 so I was released. This is so much easier than I expected so far. I am resting, but compared to a c-section and my previous hernia repair I feel good.

Today the most painful things I have are the spot where my IV was placed and one spot in my mouth where it must have been bumped with the tube.

I went in for the LSH pretty much undiagnosed except for extreme bleeding, but she discovered adenomyosis was the problem. Adios uterus! I still have my ovaries and cervix. Thanks for everyone's support!
