A thank you

I havent had my surgery yet, 12 days to go. and i only found this place three days ago. But I wanted to thank you all>

because of you ladies I am not nearly as scared as i was. I have been able to laugh, and i have been able to cry (both sad and happy tears) I no longer think I am nuts, or that i am imagining symptoms and making them seem worse. Even though i was diagnosed by 2 drs, it didnt seem like a real thing to me. But now I have hope. I didnt have that a few days ago. I am going to be ok. I know that now- so again, thank you

Re: A thank you

I feel the same way Tealady this place is so helpful. It keeps me some what calm and when i need reassurance about my up coming surgery i just log on. Im ok with why im having surgery just dont like needles and stuff like that im a whimp so as soon as i get there and checked in and iv in i will start to calm down some.
I just found out yesterday my sister had a blood clot in her lung so she is in hospital and is kinda whimpy like me (not as bad though) she is telling me about all the tests and needles and shot in the stomach oh poor thing. So i know i can handle the little bit of discomfort to get me ready for surgery compaired to what she is going through.
My mind is not really on my surgery now its on my sister.
