LAVH Feeling alone young total hyster at 31

I am 28. I just had a DvH on the 7th. I dont have cancer but have adynomyosis and scar tissue adhesions. It is scary having something like this done at such a young age but this site has helped (along with a good support group at home) to answer and reduce the stress! You are not alone, praying for you!

31 here.. No kids, wanted kids, all gone. Kept ovaries but its like owning a sports car but not having keys. It will get better, you will feel better, and your life is pretty important.

I am 39 and am having a LAVH later this morning, removing my ovaries also...Lots of issues..Breast cancer diagnosed in May, total mastectomy at the end of May and reconstructive...Chemo all summer, another surgery in Oct ( mostly for cosmetic issues)...I know what you mean when you say you feel alone...I am so happy I have found this site, very comforting.... Stay strong and remember you are NOT ALONE!!
I thought I was young to being having this done but as I read more and more posts there are SOOOO many very young women going thru this...My heart and prayers go out to all women waiting and recovering from a hysterectomy...

I am 26 and had a total hysterectomy on 11/6 for severe prolapsed uterus and recurring high grade dysplasia on my cervix. I also had a colon resection, bladder sling, rectocele repair, rectopexy, and complete vaginal reconstruction. My life was miserable before the surgery. Due to colon problems and having my insides literally falling out of me I was constantly sick and in horrible pain that I had to plan my life around. It is so hard to not feel completely alone at such a young age. This site has been a life/sanity saver for me. Big hugs and much luck to you as you go through this difficult and life changing time

I am a 24 and had a TAH (ovaries kept) due to bad endo scaring and a swollen uterus. I didn't have cancer but I do know what its like to be so young. I'm sorry you had to go thru all of that. How are you doing did they get all of it? *in my prayers*
