Period and Horrible Back Pain..

As you all know from my previous post my last period, I hope, came over a week early (should have been due on my surgery date of the 20th).

The cramping is awful but this lower back pain is almost diabilitating. I'm sucking on Sucrets Defense lozenges to keep colds at bay and taking xanax to keep me calm and help me sleep.

I stopped taking aspirin this past weekend because I was not sure if I should or not.

I'm so tired and exhausted and just hoping that at least some of these pains, this exhaustion and my fears will be put to rest next week.

Definitely stop the aspirin. It can cause unnecessary bleeding. I was told no motrin either for 1 week before. You will be a whole new woman soon! Just hang in there a little bit longer. This is Aunt Flo's last visit and she likes to make it a doozy! Just one week to go. Good luck and I'll say a prayer for you!

Carrie...thank you so much! This website and all of the other women here have been my lifeline during this entire process. Even though I have not been as prolific as some in posting daily, each time I have posted, asked a question, voiced a fear everyone has surrounded me with comfort and peace.

My last visit from Aunt Flo just started ... and my hyst and bladder sling is on Nov. 22 and she sure is making it a doozy ... same as you horrendous cramps, back pain, living on Xanax and Vicodin, keeping EVERYONE that thinks they're sick at bay ... don't want to risk getting ill and rescheduled. Just want it over with. My DH laughed when I told him I'm buying tons of pretty underwear when I'm done. Hang in there, it's about over and I call it Uterine Revenge, it knows. Tough, still coming out.
