This is just crazy. WHy I am still in pain 3 weeks out

Yes , my incision area was hot ,, My stomach is very big and buldgy and hard as a rock. I have sharp pains in my side and have a huge bruise on my stomach that is about 6 inchs across and 3 inches high its big .. If you feel you have a blood clot call your dr asap

My tummy is not hard, thanks for telling me that so i don't think I have one, but I am bruised. I might be frm the extra skin hanging over... when they took out the uterus it left me with extra skin...

I just feel so discourage. All the problems Im having I am thinking maybe the heavy periods would have been better then what I am going through right now. The percacet is not helping much right now its taking the edge off but still in quite a bit of pain. IM tired of this. I want the pain to end... Maybe I should have just told him to set them up to drain this thing yesterday but it would have messed up Thanksgiving for sure.. I am in tears , dont know what to do with my self.I know I have to give the anitibiotics time to do its work as well.. Sorry for being a baby but Im just broken and want to be fixed now

Sorry, missed the update, silly me.

I am sure that it will take a little while for the percocet to build up in your system and start to work it's magic. But antibiotics always me feel yuk anyway :-(

I can understand why you feel discouraged, you have had a lot to deal with on top of your hysterectomy but I am sure that, in time, you will be able to look back and know that it really was worth it.

But we don't have any Baby's here, just wonderful strong women who cope with everything that is placed in their path! You sure are one of them :-)

Did you finally get over your blood clots? I had my surgery on Dec 6th & at 2 weeks had blood clot & doc told me it would bleed for about a week. At 3 weeks I was still bleeding, but it had turned to a brighter red, at my 4week check up he did an ultrasound & said I had a 5-6cm blood clot that would continue to drain, but there was noting I could do about it. I'm now 4 weeks & 4days out of surgery & I'm not bleeding, but still having a horribly smelly discharge. Just wondering how yours turned out & if I should be concerned & call the doc yet once again since it doesn't seem to be draining anymore.
