No laughing....weird question!

Well lady's talking about labias! I have mine shaven in two spots by the scalpel OUCH must have been when he was taking out my parts. But oh the burning.... I have my hubby peek and yep it was sliced I told him next PT be careful with he just kinda shrugged me off.. My Reg Dr she was upset that they did not tell me.. lucky it was not cut off completly

OMG OUCH! Mine are smaller than when I got home from the hospital. I just had a mental picture...I wonder how long they can actually get????

Ok, I had a Supracervical LAp hyst so my labias(labii?) should be fine but in actuality they do feel swollen and tender. I also found out I was shaved in the upper pubic area(just in case) even though nothing done there. The labias(is?) feel kind of "raw". Not terrible just irritated like when you have been sitting in a wet swimsuit for a long time. I also ITCH all down where the shaving was(well they actually clip it now, not allowed to shave anymore accorcing to OR rules but some still do). I have been using some Desitin so my netherregions now have that baby diaper change scent

The singular form is labium.... so each fold of skin is a labium. - "any of the folds at the margin of the vulva".

The plural form is labia. So two or more of the folds are referred to as labia.

Wow! This whole time I have been jealous of you VH women. Not anymore, I'll take my AH with tummy tuck any day. I like my bits the way they are, what I have left.

My DH found the videos on youtube, and found a whole TVH with background music and everything. He called me over to see it, but didn't tell me what he wanted me to see. I really respect doctors who can actually mess around with another person's insides. I could only watch a second, but it was enough!

I did a search on google and found videos for the LAVH and watched a full length one before my surgery. I wanted to know what was going to be done to me before hand, ya know? I found it interesting. lol
