Laparoscopy for adhesions

I joined here some time ago when gyn thought I had fibroids (hence the name). Turned out I've had repeated complex cysts and no fibroids.

I had my first lapo 5 days ago due to lots of ongoing pain. The doc went in expecting endo. I go back for my post op visit next week, but from what he told dh there was no endo. He did find a lot of adhesions binding my ovaries and other organs together. He said he freed things up and thinks I'll have less pain. He also said my cervix was too small, apparently from adhesions too, and he'd had to enlarge it. In reading, I see that adhesions usually come back. So not good to hear

Today was the first day that I didn't have to take the prescription meds. Otoh, I have had nausea and hot flashes all day. Don't know if that's related to the surgery as I've had them before, but I just have had them ALL DAY LONG today! BTW, I'm 45.

My current question is how long does it take for my belly not to be so bloated? I look 5 months pregnant! My belly wasn't flat before, but it had gotten a lot smaller than this.
