1 YR+ Post-Op -- Slight bleeding, related?

My advanced total laprascopic hysterectomy was over a year ago -- absolutely everything taken out, so Saturday I was a little surprised <sorry to be graphic> to have a some pinkish blood in the toilet -- it almost looked like a small pinkish transluscent clot at the bottom of the bowl, nothing on the toilet paper.

Has anyone experienced this? Anything to be concerned about? I almost would feel silly calling the doctor about it, but I also would hate to not act on something if I should. I have been going through a very stressful time and have had some other health-related things going on that are being treated by the GP and endocrinologist.

Thanks!

Re: 1 YR+ Post-Op -- Slight bleeding, related?

Do you know exactly where the blood is coming from? I ask this because a few weeks ago, there was blood in my toilet and I was scared that it was hysterectomy related. It turns out the blood and clots were in my urine. Is there any way that is where the blood is coming from? It could be a UTI or something. Might not be a bad idea to call your doctor on this one either way. Good luck to you and big
