All Too Familar Pains 3 months post op

I had a TAH-RSO (1/2 of the left ovary remains) due to Stage IV Endo on May 17th. I have felt great since then. I'm back to exercising and riding my horse. During the past week though, the all too familary "throbbing ovary" returned and I'm having the throbbing pains on my right side too (I don't have an ovary over there but the endo was really bad on my right side). The pain comes and goes, but I'm really bummed because I know what this pain is. I knew we were running the risk of leaving half of the left ovary since my endo was so severe (and I had a lap 6 months before only to have eveything return twice as bad) but I really didn't expect to be having problems so soon. Anyone else in the same boat? I'll have to endure what I can until my teenager goes off to college next year. No hormones and a teenager are not a good mix!

I have had two bought of PMS and each time, I had pain in my left side that's familar. My insurance is paying at 100% until the end of the year; if the pain continues we will go back in in December and take the last ovary.
I have 2 teens and 1 preteen. I guess we can all be evil together. My step-dad is a Pharmacist and compounds bio-identical hormones so I'll go that route if necessary.

Hi kimdhawkins,
I haven't been through what you are here, but wanted to send a big hug and bump you up again so maybe some others will see your post. I hope you can find some answers that will help you end this cycle.

Hi,
I had surgery around when you did, and I have stage IV endo too. I occasionally feel a throbbing on my left side, and say oh no!!! But nothing stays and I think it is still just healing in there maybe? So I am not having the problems you are, but wanted to know I was thinking about you and wishing you well.
I have horses too and have ridden and have gotten back to running etc.... Are you doing more now than you were? Maybe scar tissue?
Take care and keep us updated oK? Tiffany

I am just over 3 mos.post-op too. Over the last month I've developed some of the same symptoms I had prior to surgery....indigestion, constipation, bloating.....sound familiar?
My endo was really bad too. No one even suspected I had endo until they opened me up.....it was full-blown. I am now concerned that they left some on other organs, esp. the colon. They had to separate everything before they could remove anything.....
My decsion to take HRT seemed to be a good one at the time...now I just don't know. I have an apptmt. with a new doctor Thurs.
