10 days post-hysterectomy: anyone having trouble sitting for long?

Past 3 days I've realized I am not able to sit for too long - either my ribs hurt or my pelvic area hurts.
Anyone else?

TIA,
Balling

Yes, had to change how I sat, more on my butt bones than the front area.

Are you sitting straight up a lot? I'm still mostly in a reclining position when I sit.

The first one week I've only reclined - got braver and promptly learned my lesson last night after sitting up straight to talk to a friend who visited me and sat down at the desktop to help my kiddo with her pictures for star of the week . (Ironic that she got the star of the week just this exact month when she shouldn't).

It's hard to work on the laptop when we recline.

But I digress.

I bet it does hurt sitting up that much then. I haven't been up to that yet. I have a chair that is sort of a chaise lounge or something. The back is in a somewhat reclining position and my legs stretch out. I've been working on my laptop from there and it works well. Hopefully you can take frequent breaks to stretch out. Feel better soon!

Yes. I've just reached my 2nd weak since surgery. Starting to feel more like myself but I do get a numb feeling sometimes in my lower stomach area and upper thigh area so I have to get up and walk around.
