Nearly 6 weeks post op, still some discomfort.

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a while--been busy with work, etc. We've been luckymissing hurricaine Dean. We've just had rain andsomewind, but nothing major. I wanted to ask if anyone has had this... After surgery, I felt discomfort while urinating. About 2 weeks ago, it stopped. This week, the discomfort is back. Also, I've been feeling a liitle disconfort on my incision. Has it happened to anyone? Please let me know. Thanks.

HI ASHLYLUZ
I can relate to the discomfort you are having whilst urinating, i dont know if its the same feeling as yours but it feels sort of painful but NOT cystitis like( i know the feeling of cystitis) and makes me wince. Im only 12 days post op TAH/BSO so maybe its normal for now, mine started about 5 days ago and seems to be getting worse. I dont really know if i have discomfort in my insicion as my whole stomach still hurts a lot of the time anyway, is yours inflamed or anything, if your really worried contact your doctor, especially if it gets any worse, good luck.

I had mt TAH with Burch 2 days after you....had discomfort for the first 2 weeks voiding, then was totally fine, until 3 days ago....I am now having tons of pain and needing to take pain pills which I had been off for 3 weeks. Im very frustrated as I was planning on being back to work part time on monday...now today I am laid up again. I did go to the Dr yesterday, not Obgyn...THAT that will come next week...anyway...she put me on antibiotics. I feel like a bladder infection but not quite the same. UGh...its frustrating. So...yes....I can relate!
