no bleeding after hysterectomy.a good thing right?

Glad could help, cause I felt the same way, almost panic but this website helped me.

QUOTE=cabvan;4414049]I am day 5 out, and didn't have any bleeding except for the hospital, but today had some spotting, so it was good to hear that this also is normal, as long as it doesn't soak the pad. Now I don't have to call my dr. office in a panic! haha[/quote]

That's my question. .. I've been spotting since day 7 (now day 23) mostly just light pink but some bright red occasionally. Dr checked me at 2 weeks and said everything looked stitched up well so where is the blood coming from????

I don't know, Painterswife 16. Today ends my 5th week, and I am still spotting, as you are. I checked out ok with doctor, too. Just ready for this part of recovery to be over.

Oh thanks for the belly laugh (painful but worth it!)
I too am wondering about that - and feel like you "Captain Obvious". I didn't hear about that until this site and have been watching.
Today marks 4 weeks for me post-uterus and I'm feeling much better! Still have the brownish discharge but beyond that, not much else.
