Hello All;

I am scheduled for my TAH this Thursday the 7th and am beginning to feel a little anxious. I am really looking forward to no more 32 day periods and no more pain but last January 2002 I had my right ovary and tube removed and remember the pain so I can say that I am not looking forward to that again. However I am looking forward to a pain-free life. My doctor said my stay will be the same as for my right ovaryremoval which was three days.

I just want to thank you all for the support that I had found on this site it is awesome.

Hi there and welcome to the best site ever created.

Keep reading and try not to let it all overwhelm you, you are among friends here and can ask anything and everything and you will find a lot of answers but don't forget to ask your dr. too.

I can relate to the long periods, one of my last ones was 57 days long. Recovery does take time and for myself the frustration of not being able to lie around for a week then get up and go was hard but I am learning to go with the flow. Each day has gotten better.

Take care
Jodi
