Irritated c-section scar post lap hysterectomy

I had LAVH on May 2, and I'm occasionally having an irritated/burning feeling on my c-section scar (from 4 years ago). The incisions from the LAVH are not near the scar. It's not red or itchy. No fabric has been rubbing against it. I did have incisional endometriosis removed from that scar a couple of years ago, so I'm hoping it isn't that again. I'm just trying to figure out if an irritated c-section scar is part of the healing process. Anyone else dealing with this too? Thanks.

Re: Irritated c-section scar post lap hysterectomy

Though I can't address the c-section scar itself, I'll share that I had a spot on my stomach without any scar that burned, felt bruised and numb, and very tender to the touch. I couldn't lean up against a counter or hold anything against that spot. What I finally figured out through other posts and asking questions was that it was damaged nerves. I'm wondering if you might be experiencing something similar, and it just so happens to be in the area of your c-sections scar?

Those nerve damaged areas often take longer to heal and can give some weird sensations along the way which sometimes don't seem to be related to where your surgery happened. My trouble spot started feeling a little better at 4 months, more at 6-7 months, and the last time I could tell where it had been was at the 10-1/2 month mark.
