i'm hating my MONKEY LEGS

Monkey legs, fur pants, references to baboons- you guys crack me up!

I managed to paint my own toenails in the second week but had both my bf and my neighbour lined up to do it if I couldn't.
I probably would have popped a few stitches laughing at poor bf trying to do it though....lol

Get an electric foil razor & let DH use it on you. No nicks, not as close as a razor, but will work for now.

As far as sleeping on the tummy, it's mostly up to you. I sleep half on tummy with a pillow running lengthwise under me, but that's my normal sleeping position. I can sleep on my tummy, but it's not really comfy yet.

I think I will make sure that my electric razor is charged up and have hubby give my legs a shave this weekend. It might help with the hot flashes to have the fur pants gone.

I shaved the day I came home from the hospital. It didn't hurt, no one told me not to.

i made it thru him shaving me , not one cut one me , and did did a good job . now my legs feel so much better . no more monkey legs .lol

Instead of shaving, you could let the husband use something like Nair for your legs. In that way you could also get a semi leg massage out of the deal and there's no worry about cuts.

I am blessed to have my mothers legs, with less than a dozen hairs on each one (she also gave me crooked front teeth which had to be fixed so it worked out even I guess). I was able to put off shaving for the first week, then was able to get the stragglers easily enough.

Did it! Shaved legs tonight! I feel so much better. It's not the best job, but it's way better than before. (I'm 3 weeks out from TAH)
