Home and Feeling Great

I came home a week ago today and I am feeling great. I had my surgery on the 27th, had my last bit of pain medication on the 28th and home on the 29th. I feel great. Doctor gave me a prescription for pain med but I have not filled it. Pain not severe enough. First few days I took a couple of Aleve a day and then nothing. I have been up walking, a little tired afterwards but I just lay down and rest. Went back to the doctor today because he tried a new closing procedure instead of staples. Its an adhesive, like glue and it is great. Working well he said so next week I will have none of those darn staples to remove. I am glad we tried this. Surgery went great, hospital and Doctor was great. I was so afraid going in but I thank God I went through with it. We took everything out except ovaries. I can't wait til I am 100% better. I can already tell it is going to be great. Thanks Hystersisters.

Welcome home!!! Make sure you take care of yourself and get plenty of rest. Glad to hear you are doing so good, just make sure you don't over do things.
