6 weeks post-op and doing great!

Hi. I had my da vinci hysterectomy with removal of uterus and cervix but kept both ovaries on March 17th,2011 and I am doing wonderful and have been very lucky throughout the whole thing. I go for my 6 week check up on monday May 2nd and im glad to find out my results of it all. I have returned to all my normal activites and so far im doing great Just thought I would let everyone know so that people would know some people do good with there process and its not all bad

I have been blessed with a great recovery as well. I was doing weight watchers before my surgery. They give you points for your activities. This week I am back up to my normal activity points! I love it.

Good luck with your 6 week checkup. Mine was kind of anti-climatic. She did an exam, told me I looked good and she would see me in 3 months. lol. I guess I thought there would be more fanfare!
