Hi,

I'm sorry and I certainly understand where you are! I'm 5 1/2 months and still have left over pain. But at 6 weeks, I remember too much of anything, standing, walking or sitting wasn't good!

And at 6 weeks, I thought I'd never get better and it seemed I was miles behind everyone else! You just need more time. The burning you describe could be nerves healing or adhesions. Have you had your 6 week check up? If not, make sure your doctor does an internal vaginal exam. This is so important to check for granulation. This should be done before you are released.

Just because we get released for "normal" activity around 6 to 8 weeks doesn't mean we feel "normal" yet. Take things slowly and add more activities each week. For me it was two steps forward, one backward, most of the time. Don't baby yourself but do listen to your body. Often you feel the "results," the next day.

Hang in there...it's slow I know. Check in with your doctor too.
