Ovaries after TAH

18 days post TAH - ok so still have my ovaries and apparantely still working - so what happens to eggs released??? They don't have anywhere to go now!!

Hi there. I have my ovaries and asked my surgeon the same question. You will still release your egg the same they travel along the tubes do far then die and get re absorbed into the body

Reabsorbed where - they don't have anywhere to go do they? I just sort of imagine these dead cells in my stomach building up to some sort of big ball!!!!

they get reabsorbed by your body tissue or into the blood stream, , like a missed misscarrage does (had one of those) the dead eggs just get absorded thats what the dr said, they dont make a big pile they will be gone by the time you release eggs
