Bladder Infection 8 days Post Op

I now understand why they tell you not to go anywhere during recovery. Had to come to the doctor, which is a 25 min hwy drive. And found out i have a bladder infection. Yay for catheters.

Don't feel bad. I'm 2 months post op and after all this time now I have a bladder Infection. What did your doctor give you for your infection? My doctor gave me macrobid.

Don't know yet. They called it in and waiting on DH to pick it up for me. I'm hoping it's something fast acting though. I took a 3 hour nap when I got back bc I had to take a pain pill from the pain. Ugh. Trying to keep positive through this recovery, but the light is getting dim.
