Going to the Castle on July 18th!
Well I havent been on here much lately, just doing some reading but I go to the castle next week on the 18th. It really hasnt hit me yet, Im just thinking that all this pain will hopefully be over with soon. I am having a TVH with a rectocele repair. Wish me luck!!!

Welcome. I bet you will be finding yourself here more and more often as your surgery date draws near. We are here 24/7 to answer questions or just hold your hand. We do more than wish you luck, we give advice and exchange stories of our experiences. We are not doctors, so anything we say must be filtered through your doctor's capable hands, but we can point you in the right direction.
We listen to you vent when your loved ones, co-workers or friends just don't understand, no matter how often that may be.

Big thanks to you all. I found this site a month ago while I was on vacation when my doctor told me that it was going to happen. It has been very comforting being able to read others stories so I have an idea of what to expect. I have a wonderfull doctor who has been very helpfull with this decision. My only fear is of messing up my previous surgery, I had a bladder suspension last year that ended up being botched and had to be redone three times, it really was a nightmare so I am a little weary of going under the knife again. But I have a differnt doctor now who is great so I am trying no to freak out about this one.I will certainly be back afterwards, I cant stay away from the computer! Too bad I dont have a laptop to keep in the bed with me!

Girl...!! You are in good company that day!! SEVERAL of us are set for a trip to the castle on 7/18/02. Including Me!!!!!
We'll compare stories when we come home!! I am finding this board a real God-send and I appreciate everything on it.
