Less than 24 hours to go

I am scheduled for TAH/BSO in less than 24 hours and am a nervous wreck! My bags are packed and now all I have to do is think and think. DH has been wonderful letting me vent and whine alittle but now I am just nervous and scared. I have had a Lap and tubal but those seemed easy, but this seems to bother me alot more. MD is wonderful. He has explained everything to both me and DH. Thanks for letting me vent some more. Prayers for tomorrow (5:45am--early!)

J.Smith

Me too

You are not alone. My post is almost a total reflection of yours. I am scheduled for Tuesday for TAH/BSO and feel that all I have left to do is also sit and think & think.

Less than 24 hours to go

My TAH/BSO is almost 9 months ago, and I'll tell you both that it really wasn't that bad. I was only in the hospital for 2 nights, and the recovery for me was noneventful - just lots of down time for resting, but the first 2 weeks was the hardest, and then I was able to start getting out a little bit. Really, as everyone here says, the waiting is really the worst part. Hang in there, and you will be on the other side now.
