This site has been such a huge support for me. I love being a part of such amazing sisters that are going through such similar journeys. I'm nervous for tomorrow, but ready at the same time...good luck to all the sisters!!

Yes, thank you for this site. Off to the castle tomorrow. A barrel of nerves. After reading that quote you site from Christopher Robin, I think I'll go see that movie today and try to relax!

Re: Best Wishes to our July 20 Princesses

Hi Blue Lake Jewel,

I'm also off to the castle tomorrow 7/20 for TAH/bladder tack. I understand your feelings considering I've cancelled my surgery three times before after letting my fears get the best of me. I wish you and all the other sisters having surgery the best. As soon as you're up to it, let us know you're doing fine. Big hugs!

Re: Best Wishes to our July 20 Princesses

Hello princesses in training!

I have just finished my "sparkling drink" to get things moving (so to speak) and I am now awaiting for it to kick in. They have moved my surgery back 2 hours for a c-section in the morning so I don't have to arrive until 9am. As this will be my first visit ever to the castle I am a wee bit anxious.

I stopped at the library on the way home for plenty of good books for my pampering time and found one called "The Hot Flash Club". I had to check it out!

Stay strong girls!

Re: Best Wishes to our July 20 Princesses

I will be going to the castle in the morning also. Bright and early, will wake up at 4:00am, have to be there by 5:30am and surgery is at 7:30am. Ready to get this behind me! Will be checking in with everyone on the post-op side, as soon as I can. I won't have my computer until I get home on Friday.

Mine is SAH (I think) Taking out uterus and large fibroid and keeping cervix and ovaries (that's the plan anyway).

Re: Best Wishes to our July 20 Princesses

Thanks for all your support. I'm off to the "castle" tomorrow too if I can ever get out of the restroom from this crazy prep. Nervous but ready to get this over with. Doing the DiVinci with uterus, cervix and at least one ovary being removed. They have already told me I will come out of surgery with a hormone patch. Praying this takes care of the pain in my left side I have been dealing with for the past year.

My prayers are with the rest of the sisters that are going to the castle tomorrow too! And speedy recovery for all of us!!! :-) My surgery isn't scheduled until 11am so it's going to be a loooooong morning!

Goodnight!
Jan
